Dr Andri Georgiadou

Dr Andri Georgiadou serves on International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and British Standards Institution (BSI) committees that are shaping international standards for artificial intelligence, human capital and gender equality. She is a member of the University of Nottingham’s AI Expert Panel and the European research network COST Action “Human-IT” examining the impact of artificial intelligence on work and organisations.

She is Professor at Nottingham University Business School, one of the top 100 Universities globally (QSWUR 2024), where she is the School’s Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion as well as Departmental Director External Engagement. She has taught at the London School of Economics and was a Fulbright Visiting Professor at Penn State. She is an academic member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and an invited speaker at platforms including CIPD and the East Midlands Chamber.

Her research includes publications in leading international journals such as the Journal of Business Research, co-authored and edited books, book chapters, and reports for European-funded projects. She is preparing a book on artificial intelligence in higher education for Edward Elgar Publishing. She serves as Associate Editor of the international journal Gender, Work and Organization and as a grant evaluator for the European Commission. Her work has attracted funding exceeding £3 million and she has delivered over 20 keynote speeches and 25 presentations at international conferences.

Before entering academia she worked at HSBC and in a family business. Today she advises organisations on responsible AI integration and people development. She is the founder of EQUIDY, a non-profit organisation focused on workplace inclusion.
